Retro fit leak detection to landmark building in London

A prestigious high rise mixed use landmark building in central London undergoing refurbishment to residential areas.  Leaksafe were asked to retro-fit leak detection to the kitchens, boiler and utility cupboards and the construction team installed zoned leak detection to the new bathrooms being constructed in each apartment, where previously leaks from bathroom fixtures, particularly showers had been a persistent problem.

We installed our WaterComm notification system with leak detection tape in the retro-fit zones, and the Contractor installed a central WaterComm for the bathroom with up to 4 zones of leak detection tape behind and under showers, baths, basins and WCs.  The WaterComm control panel for the bathroom was discreetly mounted above a ceiling access panel.  If any of the tapes get wet an alarm is sent to the building team giving the precise location of the leak so that they can get to it before significant damage is caused.

An example of Leaksafe working with, and alongside contractors to deliver the best, and most cost effective outcome for the client.
